The Rice & Rose Cycling Team The Rice & Rose Law Firm was the primary sponsor of Plan B Cycling's team for the annual MS 150 Cycle to the Shore fundraising ride on the weekend of October 1, 2011. The Rice & Rose/Plan B team had 85 bicyclists who participated in a total field of approximately 2000 riders.

Beck to the family law division at its meeting on September 20, 2011. Approximately 50 family law lawyers as well as various family law court personnel were in attendance to welcome the new judge.

Rice & Rose Paralegal Speaks at Daytona State College

UCF Ashleigh Drexler who has been a Florida Registered Paralegal since December 5, 2008 and a graduate of the University of Central Florida and Daytona State College, was asked to speak at Daytona State College.

The February 2010 issue of Florida Trend, the Magazine of Florida Business, highlighted Daytona Beach and Volusia County with a Community Portrait. The portrait included "Who Lives Here", "Economic Life", and "Quality of Life".

Partner Paul Rice and his wife, Kristi, (couple on right) along with three other couples attended the Futures Caribbean Feast, which is an annual fund raising event for the Futures Foundation for Volusia County Schools.

Rice Rose Law was presented with the Commercial Beautification Award for January 2010 at the Daytona Beach City Commission meeting held on January 20th, 2010.

Jim Rose Hosts UCF Alumni Reception

Jim Rose, a 1979 Political Science graduate of UCF, hosted a reception of UCF alumni at the Rice & Rose law office on April 16. The reception was well attended by many UCF graduates and administrators.

Rice & Rose recently helped sponsor the 34th annual Volusia County Gator Day Gathering held at the Hilton Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Rice & Rose was the primary sponsor of the Daytona Beach area team organized by Plan B Cycling. The Plan B team had approximately sixty cyclists participating in the 150 mile event involving some 2500 cyclists who raised money for National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Attorney Philip Bonamo was sworn in as President of the Volusia County Bar Association (VCBA) on July 31, 2009 at its Annual Membership Luncheon. The Event was held at the President's Reception Room on the Betune-Cookman College Campus in Daytona Beach, Florida.
