Philip Bonamo participated as a Panel Speaker at Bethune-Cookman
College's Criminal Justice Day, sponsored by the
University's Criminal Justice Association. The program was
held on the BCC campus on April 5, 2006. The theme
surrounded the topics of the criminal justice system
specifically as it relates to state and federal
investigations of sexual offenders/sexual predators,
community response, prosecution and defense of these types
of cases, criminal profiling and recent changes in this area
of the law by local, state and federal government, in a
question and answer type format. The other Panel Speakers
consisted of law enforcement representatives from the
Daytona Beach Police Department, the Florida Department of
Law Enforcement and the FBI.
