Paul Rice Receives All-American
Honors for 2006 Triathlon Season
Paul
Rice recently received All-American honors for the fourth
consecutive year by USA Triathlon, despite a limited racing
schedule in 2006. The sanctioning body for triathlon honors
those athletes who rank in the top five percent of their age
group nationally. Mr. Rice is seen here competing in Disney
World's Olympic Distance Triathlon in September 2006 where he
placed first in a field of 82 athletes representing ten
different states in the 45-49 age group. He also took
third overall out of 750 triathletes at the Top Gun Triathlon
in Tampa, Florida in August 2006. Mr. Rice is contemplating a
year off in 2007 as he prepares to compete at Ironman Florida in
2008 when he reaches the 50 year old milestone. It's a bummer
getting old....
