Paul Rice Lectures on Prenuptial Agreements

Drafting, Challenging and Defending Prenuptial Agreements was the topic of a presentation given by Paul Rice, pictured above, at the Volusia County Bar Association's annual family law seminar at the Indigo Lakes Conference Center in Daytona Beach.

Prenuptial agreements, also commonly referred to as antenuptial agreements or premarital agreements, are more prevalent than ever in today's society. Contrary to popular belief, "prenups" are valid and enforceable if properly drafted and executed. Mr. Rice drafts prenuptial agreements for his clients on a regular basis in his family law practice, and he has both challenged and defended such agreements in the context of divorce litigation.

As chairman of the Volusia County Bar Association's Family Law Section, Mr. Rice also served as moderator for the seminar, which was attended by approximately 25 local family law attorneys.
