Justice Pariente Visits Volusia
County
The Volusia - Flagler Association of Women Lawyers (VFAWL)
hosted a luncheon at the Daytona Beach International Airport on
Friday, September 8, 2006, featuring Supreme Court Justice
Barbara Pariente as guest speaker. The event was co-sponsored by
the Volusia County Bar Association and well attended by several
local judges and members of the Bar. Persistence paid off for
VFAWL President Karen Adams Foxman in persuading Justice Pariente to
take time from her busy schedule to visit Volusia County and
speak at the event.
