Rice & Rose Sponsors and
Phil Bonamo Hosts Justice Day Event
 On
Tuesday, March 20, 2007, Rice & Rose sponsored and Philip Bonamo
was host/moderator for 'Justice Day' for the
Southeast Volusia
Chamber of Commerce's
2007 Leadership Program.
The day event was held at the New
Smyrna Beach Courthouse and the speakers included:
- Circuit Court Judge James
S. Foxman
- Circuit Court Judge
William A. Parsons
- State Attorney John Tanner
- Public Defender James
Purdy
- Court Administrator mark
Weinberg
- Captain Joseph McDonald of
the Volusia County Sheriff's Office
- Circuit Court Judge Joseph
G. Will
Topics included the divisions of
the court system within the Seventh Judicial Circuit, the daily
activities of the court system, court administration, budgeting
and funding, Drug Court, Prosecution of Crimes, Defending the
Indigent and Courthouse security. This is the second year that
Philip Bonamo has hosted this event for the Chamber..
