In 1986, after a tenure together in another local firm, Paul E. Rice, Jr. and James L. Rose, 1983 and 1982 graduates of the University of Florida College of Law, respectively, formed the firm of Rice & Rose.  Philip J. Bonamo earned partnership on January 1, 2009, after four solid years as an associate with the firm.

A new era in the firm history began on April 30th, 2001 when RICE & ROSE took occupancy of its 10,500 square foot office building. The new building provides attractive space which is needed for anticipated short-term growth as well as the resources required for the delivery of high quality legal services.

In addition to the three partners, the firm has eight legal assistants and paralegals and four administrative staff, all likewise dedicated to providing superior service. RICE & ROSE also has its own in-house title company, Parker-Rose Title Agency, Inc., which has two qualified closing agents. RICE & ROSE is a full service law firm with its principal office in Daytona Beach and satellite offices in New Smyrna Beach and Flagler County. The firm serves a wide variety of clients throughout Florida including Consolidated Tomoka Land Company, Food Supply, Inc., Wachovia Bank, The City of Daytona Beach and The City of Edgewater as well as numerous condominium and homeowners associations.
